It was Easter weekend in 1958 that the symbol first appeared in public, the first anti-nuclear march from London to Aldermaston. The peace symbol almost at once crossed the Atlantic. Baynard Rustin, a close associate of Martin Luther King had come over from the US in order to take part in that first march. The symbol re-appeared in civil rights marches and later in the anti-Vietnam War demonstrations.. a resurgence of this beautiful symbol and the meaning behind it is why I created these earrings and pendant so pertinent for today.
Each sterling silver piece measures app. 2 1/2 inches by 1 and 1/2 inches .
Price: $72.00 for earrings
and $58.00 for pendant without chain.
Peace man....
